As data controller, LeanAI Studio srl determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data.

2. Data We Collect

When you submit the waitlist form on this page, we collect:

• Email address (required)
• First name (optional)
• Qualifying answers you provide (shop size, management system)

When you visit this page, analytics tools may collect:

• Browser type, operating system, screen size
• Pages visited, referral source, UTM parameters
• Session behaviour (clicks, scrolls) via Microsoft Clarity, if consent is granted

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

We process your data to:

• Contact you about early access to ShopBooks (legal basis: your explicit consent via form submission)
• Understand demand and validate the product concept (legal basis: legitimate interest)
• Analyse page traffic and improve the page (legal basis: consent, region-based)

4. Third-Party Processors

We use the following services to process your data on our behalf:

• Vercel Analytics (vercel.com) — privacy-friendly website analytics. Processes aggregated page view data.
• Microsoft Clarity (clarity.microsoft.com) — session recording and heatmaps. Only activated with consent. Processes browsing behaviour.
• Google Ads / Google Analytics (google.com) — conversion tracking and ad performance measurement. Region-based consent model: automatically granted for US visitors, requires explicit consent for EU/EEA visitors. Processes IP address and browsing behaviour. Google's privacy policy applies.
• Resend (resend.com) — email delivery. Sends waitlist confirmation emails. Stores your email and first name as a contact.
• Slack (slack.com) — internal notifications. Form submissions trigger a Slack message to our team. Only your email and first name are included.
• Google Sheets (google.com) — we store form submissions in a private Google Sheet as a waitlist database. Data is accessible only to LeanAI Studio srl.

5. Data Retention

Waitlist data is retained for 12 months from submission, or until you request deletion. Analytics data is retained per each provider's standard retention policy.

6. Your Rights under GDPR

As a data subject you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Restriction — request that we limit processing of your data
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing

This site uses Vercel Analytics, which does not set cookies.
